Dave Lescalleet

(Lead Pastor)

Since 2006, Dave Lescalleet has served as the organizing and lead pastor of City Church.  He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and Whitefield Theological Seminary (M.A. Christian Studies; M.A. Religion; Master of Divinity). He is currently pursuing his doctorate through Knox Theological Seminary and does chaplaincy work with Christus Spohn Hospital. Dave and his wife Kristin have three children.

Jack Carter

(Pastor)

Since entering the ministry over 50 years ago, Jack Carter continues to preach the Kingdom of God message. Pastor Carter is a life long resident of south Texas. He graduated from the University of Corpus Christi earning a BA in English and a BA in speech communications and a Masters degree in Education Administration. He founded Disciplehouse Church in the mid 1970′s and continued as Senior Pastor for the next many years. Pastor Carter also served four years as Academic Dean at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. In 1989 he returned to Corpus Christi to start Church of the King where he served as Senior Pastor until 2006. Pastor Carter also founded what is now Annapolis Christian Academy. After serving as the first Headmaster of ACA, he remained on the board of Directors until 1998. He continues at ACA teaching the Bible Curriculum. But in spite of all his achievements, to see the real fruits of his labor one must look no further then his family. After 50+ years of marriage to his wife Kathy, Jack serves as the proud patriarch of five children, fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. To this day, Jack faithfully serves his Lord and Savior in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Steven Hansen

(Director of Music and Media Arts)

Steven came to City Church in 2008 from Austin, Tx. where he worked as an Audio Engineer and Music Producer. He is a graduate of Full Sail University in Orlando Fl. Steven is currently the Director of Music and Media Arts for City Church as well as a professor of Audio Engineering at Del Mar College. Steven also  plays music regularly at various venues around the coastal bend. He and his wife Angi have two sons, Valor and Honor.

John Ryan & Bethany Seaman

(Directors of Children’s Ministry)

J.R. (a Corpus native) graduated from Howard Payne University in May of 2009 with a degree in biblical languages and a minor in pastoral care.  Bethany graduated from HPU with a degree in psychology in December of 2005. They were married in September of 2009 and currently work in Corpus as an insurance salesman and a nanny.
