Corpus Christi, TX – 02/05/12 – City Church – Benevolence Sunday

Regular Sunday morning times. 8:45 and 10:45.

Benevolence Sunday is observed quarterly and is designated to support a particular local ministry.
This Sunday we will take take a contribution over and above our regular tithe in order to benefit the Corpus Christi Pregnancy Resource Center.
The Corpus Christi Pregnancy Resource Center opened its doors in 1991 to serve women in crisis pregnancy. Thousands of women have entered our doors in need of pregnancy tests, baby clothing, maternity clothing, and peer counseling.
While the Center has a small staff, we also rely on volunteer counselors to provide peer services to our clients. Our goal is to offer a welcoming environment where each client’s physical and spiritual needs can be met. We provide pregnancy tests, peer counseling, post-abortion counseling, and maternity/baby benevolence. All services are free. We also attempt to connect women with other organizations in our city that can further meet their needs.
The CCPRC desires to share the love of Christ Jesus with each woman who enters our doors by providing a welcoming environment in which she can receive the particular assistance she needs.
